In the remote Himalayan region of Zanskar renowned for its holy sites and spiritual power – rebuilding the Khachodling Kitchen in Sani has begun. We’re asking for your assistance to complete this essential project that will benefit the whole community.
Global warming has caused dramatic changes to the winter climate. Under the weight of dense and heavy snow the traditional kitchen roof collapsed and the old building was completely destroyed.
